This 120 grit sandscreen pad is a lot like sandpaper on a small, gridded sheet. When a urethane coated floor gets scuffed or scratched, a new layer of urethane often needs to be put down. The floor needs to be prepared first, using a combination of sandscreen grits to ensure the flooring is even, and the new coating adheres properly to the floor. This process typically involves going over the area first with a 60 grit sandscreen to remove the damage. The next step is to go over it with an 80 grit pad, and then a 100 grit or a 120 grit pad to provide an even, uniform surface for the new coating.
